College is different from high school. Not only do you become more independent, your day looks completely different. Classes are going to be more demanding and some of the classes don’t meet every day, like in high school. That’s something to get used to, as most classes meet every other day.
Some days are going to be busier than others are. My easier days are Wednesdays, where I only have one class in the morning from 10-11:50am and then work from 12-1pm. After that, I typically grab lunch at Mustang Alley and then spend the rest of the day getting homework done. Tuesdays and Thursdays are my busier days, there’s project management 8-10am, work 10-12pm, get lunch at 12pm, psychology 2-3:15pm, and advertising 3:30-4:45pm. In the evenings, I typically eat dinner at Seneca dining hall with some friends. Then after dinner, we all go hang out together in one of our dorm rooms up until we decide its bedtime. I try to get all of my homework done before dinner so that I can spend the rest of the day relaxing and away from the stress.
Some nights the residence hall holds activities like trivia night or something fun like tie-dye. On weekends, the campus activities board holds some fun events that I typically attend. There always seems to be something going on either education or event wise, once you get to college, time management is going to be essential to balance everything.
